LRT ("we," "us," or "our") operates the www.lrtelecom.app website and internal team application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
Job applicants (public website): If you submit an employment application through our website, we collect your name, phone number, email address, city, and any message you provide. This information is used solely to evaluate your application and contact you.
Employees and authorized users (internal app): We collect your name, username, store location, work schedule, timeclock data (clock-in/out times and GPS coordinates used for geofence verification), sales performance data, and communications submitted through the app. For most employees, GPS coordinates are used only to confirm that a clock-in is occurring at an authorized store location.
Location (District Manager roles only): If your role is District Manager, the app periodically records your device's location while the app is open and matches it to company store locations so ownership can see which stores were visited during the workday and for how long. This location history is visible to company management. Location is never collected when the app is closed.
Camera and photos: The app uses your device camera for (a) a verification photo required at employee clock-in and clock-out, and (b) store-condition photos (store front, sales floor, back room, bathroom) taken by managers during store visits. These photos are stored securely, are visible only to company management, and clock photos are automatically deleted after 90 days.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To manage employee schedules, timeclock records, and sales performance
- To calculate estimated compensation (not a guarantee of final pay)
- To send schedule notifications and operational communications
- To evaluate job applications
- To maintain the security and integrity of our systems
3. SMS / Text Messaging
LRT sends SMS text messages to employees who provide their mobile phone number and consent to receive workplace communications (the "LRT Employee Alerts" program). Messages are limited to employee scheduling and workplace operational notifications — for example, when a work schedule is published or a shift changes. This is not a marketing program and no marketing or promotional texts are sent.
- Consent: You opt in by providing your mobile number in your employee profile and agreeing to receive scheduling notifications. Consent is not a condition of employment or of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies based on scheduling activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at team@lrtelecom.app.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties under any circumstances.
4. Ownership and Use of Data
The Service is operated by LRT. All data entered into, generated by, or stored in the Service is owned by LRT, including business data (sales records, store performance, inventory, promotions, schedules, and reports) and personal information (names, contact details, pay, schedules, timeclock and location records, and photos).
LRT may use, copy, analyze, license, sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise share any of this data with third parties for any purpose, including the companies that use the Service, service providers, business partners, and buyers of data. We use Railway (cloud hosting), Resend (transactional email), and Twilio (SMS delivery) as service providers. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties (see Section 3).
5. Data Retention
Employee records are retained for the duration of employment and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by applicable law. Job applications are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us.
6. Security
We implement technical safeguards including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, rate limiting, and access controls. No system is completely secure; however, we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access.
7. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting your manager or the company at the address below. Employees have the right to review their timeclock and sales records upon request.
To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, see our Account & Data Deletion page.
